In FBLA there are many ways to compete. For example, there are role plays, assessments, and lots of others. This article is about role plays and the following students have moved forward to test for the FBLA District Competition:
Gabrial Davis
Katelynn Lawson
Jacob Davenport
Kaylee Christensen
Sophia East
Kendall Klewer
Roni Goad
Uriah Earl
These 8 students tested for the District Competition the week of January 22nd, and the top 8 will present their role plays. Then the top 3 will compete at the State level.
I met with Katelynn Lawson, a freshman who competed in last week´s competition. She competed in the Introduction to Event Planning competition. I asked her what her experience was like when she competed in the competition, and if she learn anything from this experience. She said, ¨It was nerve-wracking, and it was exciting to try something new, and I am excited to continue competing at the competition for FBLA.” “I learned to take a chance ,and that anything is possible, and I was surprised when I made it into the top 8. “
Competing for a club can be a good experience. It is good for applications, and resumes.
