Hi, These are clothing tips because why not. In winter a lot of people still like to wear fall colors and it shows. Winter is a season where you can look however you want but these are some tips:
Rich/Expensive-
There are a lot of people who want to look rich. You can look it but you don’t have to be it. To look rich it’s all about black. Why do you think New Yorkers always wear black during the winter time. Don’t have two mismatching blacks, Yes there is a difference between blacks. Denim jeans and a leather jacket is a no go. Leathers should match to whatever you are wearing. A black trench coat is amazing for winter. Black trench coats tend to make the body look taller and slimmer.
To Look Slimmer-
Avoid vertical prints at all costs. In order to look slimmer black will be your best friend. Also like a good dark purple moment would work too. Vertical prints make an illusion to look taller but it will make you look more wider than you are. Layers are amazing for this as well due to it being winter. A good dark plaid moment is everything. If you want to mess with color a dark blue or red can make you look slimmer. Plaid has some vertical print to it but since it is not a shirt you should be fine. Don’t wear the plaid shirt as a shirt, Wear it like a jacket because it’s honestly cuter and makes you look slimmer. Winter for Curvy people-
If you have a bigger body type than that’s cool. You don’t have to be slim to look good or feel good. At the end of the day it’s about how fashion makes you feel. So here are some tips for curvy people. Curvy body types with high waisted jeans are amazing. High waisted jeans tend to help the body look like it has definition. High waisted jeans make a body shape instead of looking square. Hoodies can make a person look square and I know they are comfortable but they give the body a more square body shape. For tops, a puffy shoulder shirt is great, It helps give an illusion that makes the body look proportional. In fashion there is a saying that the shoulder should match the hips. It’s not wrong, When a body looks proportional it helps you look expensive. If you want to play with color, Tucking in a shirt can make a huge difference. Tucking in lets say a yellow shirt with long sleeves can make you look great. It gives an illusion putting them curves into spots that helps you look proportional.
